About Lauren

"I am passionate about empowering parents to feel confident in nourishing their children, and seeing families thrive." 

Hello, I’m Lauren, a Specialist Nurse Practitioner. I am a registered Paediatric and Adult Nurse, as well as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. 

I have been working in the NHS for the last 19 years and currently support new parents and babies in their new postpartum period.  

For many years, I have supported families and parents in overcoming feeding challenges. My own breastfeeding journey highlighted how difficult it can be to access the right support, which inspired me to dedicate myself to helping others navigate their feeding experiences. 

This commitment led me to establish Little Willows, a service focused on providing compassionate, expert guidance during this important stage of life. 

I live in Bedfordshire with my husband, our son, and our dog Chewy (affectionately known as Chew-Barker). 

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, exploring the outdoors on camping trips, and indulging my creative side by knitting - often producing delightfully imperfect hats for my family!
